Community House Timaru is set in the heart of Timaru’s CBD, making it an ideal venue for groups and individuals who need a temporary meeting room or casual office space.

Acting as a local support hub for the Mid and South Canterbury community, Community House Timaru offers three rooms for hire, a large 20-seat meeting room and two interview rooms which can seat up to seven people. All are available for casual or long-term regular/repeat booking hire.

Bookings are made online via the tab below.  Reception assistance is available 9am – 2.30pm Monday – Friday to welcome meeting attendees and check in your guests.  Please note any room bookings where your meeting is on a weekend or runs later than 4pm, after hours access will be required.

You will need to visit Reception prior to 2pm Monday to Friday to organise all after hours access.

Please read our Terms & Conditions carefully.  By booking our rooms you are accepting our Terms & Conditions.  

Please also note the following:

• There is NO PARKING available on site.  There is nearby public parking available on The Terrace and at Farmers.  See Timaru Parking for further information.
• You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance free of charge (otherwise the full rate will be charged and invoiced).
• Payments are invoiced at the end of each month and are to be made via internet banking.  We do not have EFTPOS or credit card facilities and do not accept cash.
• We reserve the right to amend or cancel any booking without notice although we will endeavor to contact you as soon as possible.
